Review: Skin Lash SG
December 12, 2017
Debbie from Skin Lash SG kindly invited me down for a facial treatment + eyelash extensions the other day - just what I needed right after finals haha my skin has been breaking out and looking super dull + I've always wanted to go for eyelash extensions so I decided to go for it! She didn't ask for this blog post but I decided to still do it anyway because I had a really good experience and I thought I'd share + answer some commonly-asked questions from my friends! :-)
We first started off with a Hydro-Active intensive treatment (U.P. $180) which aims to provide intensive moisturising care to the skin which was what I needed! My skin looks super dull without make up and I found out from Debbie that it's because of the lack of moisture in my face (haha I blame my laziness....... and it's probably time i start using a proper moisturiser)
Then we moved on to my eyelash extensions! I wanted something natural so I chose the B-Curl, Signature Set (90 lashes/side) recommended by Debbie and ah I loved it!
P.s. You can choose the length/curl/kind of eyelashes you want

Before I got my eyelash extensions! As you can see, I have reaaally little eyelashes to begin with HAHA
And these are some gifs after I got my eyelash extensions done!
You can really see the difference :-)
And one week after..
I love how natural it looks! :-) Debbie is super nice and hospitable - and she made sure I was comfortable at all times which I really appreciate! Do note that she's more chinese-spoken but don't worry if you aren't because she can still converse in English pretty well :-)
A few of my friends pmed/dmed me asking me about my eyelash extensions and I thought I'll just compile some questions here!
Q: How much are the eyelash extensions?
A: There's a range from $70-$140 and mine costs $110! Good news because they're having a 40% opening sale (yes!! even for eyelash extensions!)
Q: Are the eyelash extensions uncomfortable? How to do they feel on the eyes?
A: Wasn't during application at all - I almost fell asleep! It felt a little odd at the start because I can see the eyelashes in my vision (I used to have botak eyelashes so you can't blame me hahaha i don't know how it's like to have long eyelashes) - but it's ok after a short while and I can barely feel that it's there after!!
Q: Is it a hassle to maintain the eyelash extensions?
A: I would admit that it is! haha I have this super bad habit of rubbing my eyes so there were so many times I had to stop myself from doing so. Debbie also told me to avoid oil-based products (esp make up remover) which I don't use usually so it's fine :-) But besides that, for the convenience, it's so worth it!!! I can basically wake up looking like I have eyeliner and mascara on HAHAHA and that's skipping 2 steps of make up!!
Feel free to ask me anything through my instagram dms/here if you're interested to get yours done too!! I have friends who just got theirs done too ;-)
Do check out them on their social media!

Nice
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice explanation! Actually it is really better to start your lash extension with B Curl Lashes, as it is very soft and natural looking. To know more about lash types and lash extensions product please visit the site. It is always better to have clear knowledge about lash types before doing eyelash extensions.
